I was just browsing the Tideway school section of this website and it brought back many memories....most of them good. Herr Brauner, Mrs Tapp, Dave lePage the list goes on and on, but my thoughts kept coming back to my year 4+5 english teacher, Mr Kellet. We were dreading starting his class in year 4 with his strict reputation and tweed suit. His accuracy with the wooden blackboard eraser was a thing of legend, but having said that I received the highest marks of any of my O level subjects with him so he obviously got the message across very well in his particular 'Basil Fawlty' manner. Good times.
