Who were in the TV entertainers eleven?
I remember Phil Carlo from the George Best XI. Carlo was road manager for Bad Company and Jimmy Page on the 80's and was a neighbour when I lived in Peacehaven.
Are the Entertainers the same as the showbiz X1? I used to play cricket with a chap who organized the showbiz teams.
My dad founded the TV Entertainers XI and was in the showbiz XI in the early days. Different teams but a lot of the celebs played for both teams at one time or another.
Around about this time I used to do the Match Commentary for the TV Entertainers X1, all around the Country, every Sunday.
