SOUTH DOWNS, 2008

Just moments away from home!

The South Downs are just moments away from my home. Walk along Heighton Road, past the Hampden Arms and, before dropping down to the Hollow, take the path up and along the Downs to what is still called the New Barn, though it must be pretty old by now!

With the various tracks and paths across the fields, you can play mix and match with your downs walks. Roll on Summer!

Oh those pictures make me so envious. Before my husband's operations we used to walk for miles over the Downs. My ambition was to cycle the South Downs way, but that is just a dream now.
