Back in the late 70's, I think it was my second husband who worked this crane. He took me on it one day, I felt really sick and was glad to come down to firm ground.
My brother Dave Morley worked on this crane for the biggest part of the 1970's. If I remember rightly the man who worked with him was named Mervyn. I worked at Hall Aggregates for a while from June 1977 till sometime in 1979 I think. They were a great bunch to work to work with. I wonder where they all are now?
The big blue crane. My dad Andy McIntyre worked on it late 70s/early 80s - he also worked on the Sand Swift that use to dock there.
