This month’s picture is taken at Riverside – pre North Way – with the Bridge onto Denton Island in the background. You can see Sefton Terrace behind the sign, and also Stricklands Warehouse which burnt down in 1940. Who are these people? Were they regulars of the Blacksmiths Arms which stood opposite this spot on the river side?
