Recognise Anyone?

A group of swimmers, taken some time around World War 1. A long shot,and apologies for the poor quality photo, but does anyone recognise a relative? My grandmother, Winifred Simmons (later Vinall) is centre back of the women seated, and possibly in front of to her could be three of her sisters. There seem tooo many people here for it to be only a family group.

The second photo of a cricket team (may not even be Newhaven's - I don't recognise the building!) taken, I think, 1938. At the group's left, at the front, is my uncle, Frank Vinall. I don't know any of the others, does anyone else?

The man kneeling at the front of the group is my father in law, Albert Evans. This picture is of the Newhaven cricket team and is taken in front of the old pavilion, which is where the Shakespeare Hall stands now.

After further discussion with my mother-in-law, Rhoda Evans, we think that the gentleman on the backrow right-hand side, George Goldsmith. The first man on the left in the middle row is Mr Lavington and standing next to him is his son Monty, and in front of them is his other son Jack.

The man standing behind the wicketkeeper looks like Fred Noakes.
