It is sad to see a building in this state. This used to be the New Bridge Inn and one of my "watering holes", it was also very popular with the handicapped men from the Searchlight Home because it was one of a very small number of public houses in Newhaven that had the entrance door at pavement level. Most of the pubs had steps outside and were not very "wheelchair friendly". The Crown Inn and the New Bridge Inn where my most frequented, and alas, now both gone.
