Nice to see my grandfather ( Bert Muddle ) the barber got a mention in this poem of old local characters , I also remember old Jab Bert, the teacher who was quite a interesting guy.

I would really appreciate any information on Jab Burt, a few of us would go up his house in Rose Walk for bible lessons with tea in china cups and home made cake, in the mid 60's.
