FAMILY WEDDINGS AT ST MARY'S CHURCH, TARRING NEVILLE

Have just been looking at the wedding photo of Fred and Clara Harvey. My mother had an uncle Fred Harvey, could it be the same person? I think they lived in Peacehaven at some time,they came to my wedding in 1971.

John - you are correct - my great Uncle Fred and great Aunt Clara Harvey lived in Victoria Avenue, Peacehaven. Aunt Clara died around 1970 and Uncle Fred about 3-4 years later. Anne and Harold Pargeter were my maternal grandparents. Thank you to Mary (cousin) for submitting these.

John, Looking at the photos does the surname FORD or Tucknott spring to mind and that there maybe one in these photos, Regards David Tucknott

The 3rd photo, people at the right hand end as viewed look like Frank and Alice White.

The 3rd picture down and the gentleman far right back row, with a mustache, does someone have his name please. My mother Frances Woolgar and I were born at Tarring Neville....

Thanks for submitting these photos. They are very interesting. Gideon Holman's wife, Elizabeth Smith, was my great-great-great-aunt. I am descended from her brother, Walter. Are any of Elizabeth's siblings in any of these photos? I would love to hear from any of the Holman descendants.

Out of interest, is the third photo down a family group featuring Gideon Holman and his eight surviving children? If so, I'm guessing it was taken after his wife Elizabeth died in 1915.

Oops! I think I miscounted and think the third photo down is Gideon Holman with his wife Elizabeth and 8 children, taken before 1915 so please either amend the previous message or add this one.

I have just seen this post - Gideon Holman's daughter Kate was my great grandmother, she is sitting to the right of Gideon in the family photo.  I would like to know more about the other wedding photos in this collection, please.

Can anyone figure out what that is soaring above the back row in the 4th picture? almost looks like a figure with a hat and a flag !!!
