NEW SLIPWAY NEWHAVEN MARINA

This picture of the south slipway in front of the old Marina Workshop building is shown having a complete resurface dressing. It had become very dangerous especially when re-launching deep keel yachts as their trailers would suddenly stop then roll making it a sometimes hazardous experience! RSM Marine Workshops Ltd traded there from 1986 until 1990. The picture also shows various other areas, now altered, including the old lifeboat station boathouse together with the old marina slipway control block offices.
