Fascinating. My parents (Joyce & Harold Davis) owned Amy Stores for a couple of years around 1961, when I was 9 years old. At that time I seem to recall the property having a really nice long garden.

My parents owned Amy Stores from 1984 till they converted it into 2 flats in 2005. Myself and my sister brought the flats and still live there today. My parents sold off the garden as it was too much to take care of with running the shop.

The post box is still there and gets covered with one of the Crochet toppers through the year (also done by me and my sis)
