I certainly remember this day. The weather was good and we had long trestle tables set out on the road for the tea party. Not many cars about in those days so this was easily done. I also have a vague memory of fireworks in the evening. I have a photograph somewhere and when I find it (not easy as I have moved twice in the past two years) I will try to get it put on here. Oddly enough I came across tho photo of Rose Walk VE Day party only yesterday. You are on there Peter and I think Ernie is next to you.
