Looking up-river

John Sweatman

Another RAF launch, and the sheet loft still in place? around 1963.

The RAF launch is the 63' general purpose pinnace 1390, here for many years. Behind her is the dredger Testside and her two barges. On the gridiron is the steamer Londres. She left in December 1963 and, as it's very unlikely she would have given a winter refit before she left, the photo is probably 1961/62.  - Andy, Editor
