It is with great sadness I have to report that my uncle, Brian Plant passed away on 9th July 2010 in Blenheim, New Zealand. He never forgot his Newhaven roots and retained his interest in football to the very end.

Hello Michael, so sorry to hear about Brian. I knew him and his brother Joe very well, we played football on Sunday mornings alot, had nickname of CRUMP, why?. , I never know. Kind regards, Johnny Snow.
