Mick Cutler from Dieppe local paper.

Not really Newhaven again, but it shows our much-loved ferry Senlac at Dieppe after a storm that caused the harbour's bucket dredger to turn turtle.

The caption translates as follows: "Dieppe residents discovered the following day that the dredger Dieppe IV had capsized in the harbour."

Thankfully, even in the 1987 hurricane, we didn't lose a vessel, though high winds had previously caused ships to break their moorings.

Does anyone know the year of this event?
