This is Seaford seafront but the first car in the line is a three wheeler,
could it be the same one in a few pics on this site.
Looks the same, I wonder if they are the ones you had to climb into the engine bay to kick start. I worked with a chap who had one of them, he used to do himself serious damage starting it, much to our amusement.
Hi Terry, I thought the three wheeler that was "kick started" under the bonnet was the Bond, having a single wheel at the front, and would turn complete circles within its own length and would reverse by a further turn on the steering wheel. A one time reverend at Denton Church owned one of these, in the mid to late 50's.
The three wheeler is a Morgan ...
On another note, the cliffs in the background have a colony of Kittiwakes. We come over in the spring with the RSPB to have a look at them. After parking at Cuckmere Haven we walk out to the mouth of the river, then over the cliffs. We usually see Wheatears as they come over from France. The Skylarks are plentiful as well. Its one of the trips you really look forward to.
