Thomas Ranger

By Tracey Evans

Thomas Ranger was the Lighthouse Keeper in the early 1900's. His grand-daughter Alice Field recognised him from a family photograph, when visiting the museum. Alice still lives in the house in Brighton where her parent's lived. She has postcards sent from Newhaven dated as early as 1905 - showing the Breakwater and Church Hill.
