The caption says it all - well, almost.

I'm the lad near the centre front, with the manic fringe! Right next to me is Paul Everest. My Dad Frank Gilbert is just behind me and Paul's Dad, Jack Everest, is the man holding up the sign on the right of the bus window as we look at it. Second from the left is Bob Patterson.

From the bus and the fringe, I'd say this is from the mid 1960's, and we're setting off from outside Parsons greengrocers in Meeching Road.

Are you in the photo, or do your recognise anyone? Do you know where we were headed? I can recall trips to London Zoo and Southsea.

I think that may be Bert Richardson behind Bob Patterson's left shoulder and possibly, his wife Anne directly under the "L" of Labour.
