My father came from Southampton,Top row left are his sisters Bubbles and Ivy with Yessell Flowers in the middle, Top right is Low Flowers next to grandad ,my lovely Gran Flowers next to Low's wife Eileen, and Gran Stonehouse with Dad's niece Clare . I just love the clothes .
I was looking at this lovely photo of the wedding. My Grandmother was Rose Cowley (nee Flowers) I know she came from a large family and I was wondering if she was related to any of these people in this photo. Janet Jenkins (nee Driver)
Yes, my grandmother Maisie Flowers - pictured on her wedding day to Robert, above) was the only sister to Vic Flowers. There were also six brothers. Vic went on to own V.R.Flowers & son in Seaford. His son, Alan & grandson Mark now continue the family business.

My Grandmother was Hannah Flowers, Rose's Sister.
Where does Michael Flowers come into the family? He came and worked with us as a carpenter at Bannisters Builders. He told us he had a GCE in carpentry, making a match box holder, we took the mickey out of him no end. We used to go to football at the Goldstone ground in his GT Cortina he was a good laugh and took all our chiding in good spirit.
