INCINERATOR - A BETTER DESIGN?

Now this would be spectacular!

As you can see, my bedroom window offers a wonderful(?) view of the monster. As it's grown, I couldn't help thinking that it reminded me of something else - then it clicked. It got me thinking, if Veolia had put just a tiny bit more effort into it maybe they could have come up with a better design. More like the 'tourist attraction' that Cllr. Peter Jones thinks his 'proudest achievement' is, perhaps?

Or perhaps not!

This addition to the Newhaven landscape bears an even greater resemblance to another tourist attraction - The Sage at Gateshead.

This monstrosity would not look so imposing, being it stands twice as high as any other building in or around the town, if it were painted in shades of green to merge with the surrounding landscape.
