Top picture I think is Tony Walters but I can't remember who the guy in the white shirt is. 2nd pic. Next to you is Peter Eager. I should know the guy on the left but can't recall his name.

Is he the Tony Walters who used to live in 1st Avenue,if so his mother was my Aunt Ethel. I can remember him showing my brother and I cartoons on a cine camera under the stairs at 1st Ave. I think he was in the army at the time as we didn't see much of him. Would be interesting if he was, as we seemed to lose touch with that side of the family.

Terry - I live in First Avenue. Your Aunt Ethel lived in the house next door until she moved into sheltered accommodation in Elphick Road. Tony became a professional drummer. The last I heard of him was that he moved to Sweden, but I heard that in the 70's so he may not be there now.

Thanks Doug, I can remember his drum kit in the house and he used to let us have a go on it. I can remember visiting my aunt in Elphick Road, but never saw Tony again. Can you remember his father, because I cannot recall ever seeing him. I have spoken to my cousin Roger Howard who also used to go to watch the cartoons as well. Looks like I have some detective work to do.

Terry, I have some information for you if you can get in touch. I asked the editors to pass my email address on to you, but maybe you're not using the same email with which you signed up to the site. Perhaps you could ask them to send you mine.

The chap in the top picture on the left is John Manser who used to live in Western Road just above the boy's school.
