Playscheme visits the Fort - 1992

I think I am correct in saying the children in the picture were visiting the Fort whilst on an outing with the Newhaven Summer Playscheme, which was run from Shakespeare Hall in the school holidays it ran for two weeks  and children would come from all the schools in Newhaven. Pam Perry ran the scheme with the help of volunteers mainly mums and dads. The scheme was very well run and the children played sports, painted, cooked and had a really enjoyable time.
