The photo above, I think is another play written by the late Bill Owen, and was called The Ragged School. Bill wrote this play for the Newhaven Boys Club and its theme was to commemorate the beginning of the Dr Barnardo Story. I took part in this play but do not remember this cast. Ian Walton played the part of "Cripple" and there is a photo of this version under Newhaven Boys Club. I still have an original script and the play was performed seven times at various venues. Bill Owen was a very good friend to the club.

I remember the main song we sung was called "The Coppers are on the Prowl Tonight." I'm the good looking one by the way.
