Taken on a cold windy Sunday morning on the lovely sandy beach, it was much warmer here than up in the car park at the top of the steps.
It's a very long time since I last saw these steps but they are looking worse for wear.
Thanks for adding this excellent photo to the site, Kim. All being well, I'll try a stroll down there tomorrow.
Hands up all those who built a sand 'fort' up against these steps and waited for the incoming tide to overwelm them.
I have lost count how many times we built a fort against the tide. The cheese sandwiches with Golden Wonder crisps and sand were always a feature of my time on the sand. Not forgetting the glass bottle of coke from the shop next to the amusements.
