NEWHAVEN HARBOUR
Our harbour pictured from the Fort.

The first photo shows the popular Transmanche ferry Sardinia Vera at the car ferry ramp. This was the ferry that restarted the route after the P&O Ferries withdrawal in 1998.
The second is a view over the Marina, with the Sheffield Arms / Harbourside at the left and the old Lifeboat House at the right. No big blocks of flats back then, of course.
The final photo shows the Hoverspeed fast ferry Superseacat Two backing into the harbour. Alas, their service was rather short lived.
