I was born in Eastside, Beach Road to be precise. When all my relatives came at Christmas to stay with my Granny, (Lou Smith), our families spent many a happy Xmas eve there. Time stood still down in Turkey Town, a great place to live in the fifties & sixties.

I grew up in Transit Road. I was born in ‘59 and left there around 1976. Fantastic place to grow up in those days.
