HOUSES BEING BUILT

 This are from my late Grandfathers collection. I am not certain as to exact position in Newhaven.

 

 Possibly in the Gibbon Road/Western Road area (mid to late 1950's ?).

 Can you help pinpoint the location for us? Perhaps you might even live in one of this properties!

Looks like Vale Road in Seaford to me.

I thought the same funnily enough Ron.

Its more likely to be Seaford then Newhaven looking at the countryside in the background.

I'd say late 40's. The cul de sac will be East Dean Rise.

Hi Ernie

I see that you say these are photographs from our Granddad's collection; I would be interested in seeing that collection, (I didn't know that a collection existed),  perhaps you could contact me through this site; editors would you mind forwarding my email address to Ernie.

I agree with other comments that the houses are in Seaford; compare Google street view houses at Vale Road and East Dean Rise.
