These pictures show the Parker Pen workers just before they left for Dymchurch on a day out, organised by Parker Pen it was to boost morale as times were hard for most people after the war.

In the first picture the lady crouching far right with a coat over her shoulders, and second left in the second picture, is my Aunt Alice Lyons who lived in Seaford and worked at Parker Pen for many years.
