This photo shows my late wife (front row 4th from left) taken with her mother, Mrs Burgess in 1946/47. This photo was taken at the old National Food Office/nurses station that used to be next to Hillcrest School. Mothers used to go there to collect their dried milk/cod liver oil & orange juice. My mother-in-law used to work for the Ministry [of Health] at the time.
