Photos 1 – 8 show the Silver Jubilee street party at Evelyn Avenue. This was held on a different day to the Lawes Avenue street party, and photos of this party can be viewed on this site too. No donkey rides, Pearly Kings or mechanical horses at the Evelyn party.
Photos 9 – 10 show one of the Good Friday skipping days from 1982, apparently the residents of Lawes Avenue had Good Friday skipping marathons also!. Does anyone have any photos?
