Newhaven in the Great War

I have been commissioned by "Pen & Sword" publishing to write a book about Eastbourne, Seaford and Newhaven in the Great War. (Lewes and Newhaven were due to be written by a Lewes author but she has since withdrawn) I would be really interested to receive any information about Newhaven and Seaford during the First World War (1914-1919) Particularly information about the "Home Front", the use of the Port and Conscientious Objectors.
