Wow! what a blast! Unfortunately, spotted myself in the Buckle run photos (England top and very short shorts). What days, such memories. Every good wish to you and those who have found the site and made contact. Well done! I'll have a root around and see if I can dig up some more photos for you.

My brother found this site and passed the link on to me. Where have those years gone!! Remember the Buckle Run well and getting a lift back to Newhaven in the back of a lorry. Most of us under age in the pub!!

Yes the same person. Virginia and I are both editors of this website.
We hope you enjoy reminiscing. Also do you have any photos or articles you could add to the website? We all went to 'Meeching Junior School' also.

In the 4th photo in the middle is Kim Forewood. Kim is now the Mayor of Hastings. Funny thing we have known her for years,she was my son's teacher at primary school in the eighties but had no idea she was from Newhaven. I now coach cricket with the rest of her family for a local club.
