I have 100 plus photos of Newhaven Harbour taken by me in about 1972 which are all in slide (Kodak Ektachrome) form.  I did a project on Newhaven when I was at school for CSE History.  I didn't live in Newhaven but my grandparents did, but I just found Newhaven and the surrounding area a fascinating place to visit.  Bearing in mind that I have always lived in Tonbridge (Kent) I wonder now whether the person who marked the project thought it a bit odd that I should do a project on a place where I didn't live.  My computer skills are not good enough to scan them onto this site if it could be done, and not sure whether I would be able to do this with slides anyway.  How I would I go about getting these slides on the site.  They are sitting in a box doing nothing at the moment.  

Many pictures on this website are taken from slides Colin, so we have the technology. We use a small unit which scans the slides and loads them to computer or memory stick for editing. Do you ever venture this way?
