SEVEN SISTERS
Turning in foul weather
By Adrian Elliott
I spotted the Seven Sisters turning in the harbour this morning (1st November). It was a close thing as she turned broadside on into the wind. The weather was foul so I didn't hang about long enough to see if she made it!
I only had my camera phone with me - sorry about the clarity.
Thanks for the photos of what is a relatively rare occurence these days. The Transmanche 'twins' were designed so that they could (just) swing like this in the harbour, but most times they'll leave stern-first as the ferries are very capable when running astern. - Andy, Editor
